Bukchon Village is situated in the old part of Seoul which is north of the River Han. This village is one of the few remaining areas in South Korea where old traditional architecture with timer frames and clay tiled roofed houses can be found. This area is very popular in particular with Japanese and Chinese tourists. All the Royal Palaces are in the vicinity of this village.
